Biography
Dr Stephanie Yap is a Dental Surgeon at The Dental Studio (TDS), a clinic under Singapore Medical Group (SMG).
She is an experienced general dental practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience, specialising in all aspects of general dentistry and aesthetic dentistry, with special interests in aligner therapy (orthodontics) and implant surgery.
Dr Yap obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the National University of Singapore in 2011. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP) and was awarded second runner up for her research topic.
She remains committed to continuous professional development and is an active member of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society Singapore (ADSS), Singapore Dental Association (SDA), and Singapore Dental Council (SDC).
Earlier in her career, Dr Yap served in the Dental and Oral Health Departments within the public healthcare sector. She practised across several government institutions, including Alexandra Hospital, Jurong Medical Centre, and National University Hospital Services. She was later appointed co in charge of the SingHealth Dental Cluster and also carried out clinic in charge duties during her tenure at SingHealth Polyclinics in Geylang and Queenstown.
Dr Stephanie Yap currently practises at The Dental Studio, OUE Downtown, where she continues to provide patient centred, comprehensive dental care.
